Energy Leaks: Why You’re Exhausted, Stuck, and Not Getting the Results You Want
Tabby Pama | JAN 18
If you feel tired all the time, emotionally stretched thin, or like you’re “doing the work” but not moving forward, this isn’t a motivation problem.
It’s an energy leak.
Energy leaks are subtle, normalized, and often praised as being a “good person,” a “hard worker,” or a “supportive partner.”
But over time, they drain your life force, dull your clarity, and quietly sabotage your confidence, health, and income.
You don’t need more discipline.
You don’t need another strategy.
You need to stop hemorrhaging energy.
Let’s talk about what energy leaks actually are and why they matter more than most people realize.
What Are Energy Leaks?
An energy leak is any place where your emotional, mental, or physical energy is leaving your system without a meaningful return.
They happen when:
You override your own needs
You say yes when your body says no
You explain yourself to people who aren’t listening
You carry responsibility that was never yours
You stay hyper-alert to avoid conflict or rejection
Most people think energy is just about sleep, food, or exercise. Those matter, but they’re not the whole picture.
Energy is also attention, boundaries, self-trust, and nervous system safety.
And leaks happen fastest in the places you’ve learned to abandon yourself.
When you feel the need to convince others that your feelings, choices, or boundaries are valid, you’re leaking power.
Clarity doesn’t need permission.
Every explanation given to someone committed to misunderstanding you costs energy.
Being kind is aligned.
Being self-erasing is not.
When your “niceness” comes from fear of disappointing others, your system stays in survival mode. Over time, this shows up as exhaustion, resentment, and stalled growth.
Holding space for everyone while no one holds space for you is not strength. It’s depletion.
Energy is meant to circulate, not drain in one direction.
Replaying conversations.
Second-guessing decisions.
Running imaginary scenarios.
Mental overprocessing is one of the biggest unseen energy leaks. Your body experiences it as constant threat, even when nothing is happening.
When your inner knowing and your external actions don’t match, energy fragments.
You can’t build momentum while betraying yourself.
How Energy Leaks Affect Money, Confidence, and Success
Here’s what most people don’t connect:
Low energy leads to low capacity
Low capacity leads to inconsistent action
Inconsistent action leads to self-doubt
Self-doubt keeps you playing small
This isn’t a mindset issue.
It’s an energetic system issue.
When your energy is scattered, success feels heavy. Decisions feel confusing. Opportunities feel overwhelming instead of exciting.
When energy is contained, life responds differently.
Signs You’re Plugging Your Energy Leaks
This is what alignment actually feels like:
You feel calmer, not rushed
Your no feels clean, not guilty
You stop explaining yourself
You trust your timing
You make decisions faster
Your body feels safer
Energy mastery isn’t about doing more.
It’s about leaking less.
How To Start Sealing Your Energy Leaks
You don’t fix energy leaks by forcing change. You fix them by noticing where you’re abandoning yourself.
Start here:
Where am I giving without replenishment?
Where am I tolerating what drains me?
Where am I acting from fear instead of truth?
Awareness is the first containment.
From there, boundaries stop feeling harsh and start feeling natural.
The Work Beneath The Work
Most people try to manifest, heal, or grow on top of an unstable energetic foundation.
I work with people who are ready to stop leaking energy and start holding themselves differently. Not through bypassing or pretending everything is fine, but through grounded, embodied alignment.
This is the core of The Unbecoming and The Energypreneur work. Not becoming more, but unbecoming what drains you.
Because when your energy is intact, everything else becomes simpler.
If this resonated, you’re likely already aware there’s more available for you.
You don’t need fixing.
You need containment.
Stay here. Explore. And when you’re ready, the next step will be obvious.
